4T are currently nurturing a class set of sunflowers! Rawan and Mujtaba are our Sunflower monitors and they can now report that 5 flowers are starting to sprout! Hooray and well done to Liam, Naila, Sheema, Isha and Malaika for being brilliant gardeners so far.

We are also very excited to plant our potatoes after Easter.

4T would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Cooper and 3PC for including us in their amazing performance of Julia Donaldson’s Jack and the Flum Flum tree.

We really enjoyed the hilarious story and creating our shark costumes!

4T and 4M were extremely lucky this week when they visited the Bridgewater Hall. Not only did they get to see the inspirational, fantastic Halle orchestra; they also got to travel through Europe on the orient express! Amazing!

What was your favourite part of the trip? What was your favourite part of the orchestra: woodwind, percussion, brass or string?

4T are extremely excited for their trip to watch the Halle at he Bridgewater Hall and to perform themselves on Sing Up Day!

All of this week we have been singing, dancing and researching talented musicians!

Here is one of our favourites:

The Piano guys perform a One direction hit! And we like this one better! It was also extremely interesting to see the intricate mechanics inside the piano.

It’s going to be a busy half term because World Book Day is also on its way and we will celebrate on the 7th of March!

Nakaya asked: Why do we celebrate World Book Day?

Sponsored by National Book Tokens

What is World Book Day?

World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

I would like to know what your favourite accelerated reader book has been so far and why?
